Silver Ball Century - Episode 3 - 1952-1957
I'm back from an amazing time at Pinball Expo!
Tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 22) at 8pm, it's Episode 3 of Silver Ball Century. It's the mid-1950s and we're seeing some classic wood-rail pinball machines, with things like score lights and gobble holes.
Tables in this episode
Queen of Hearts (Gottlieb, 1952) - VPX by arborelia, originally by loserman76. Hey that's me! I made a quick mod of the table so it would play right for tonight's episode. I didn't put a lot of effort into it, I just changed the table angle (to be not steep) and flipper strength (to be weak), because that's how a '50s machine should play.
Skyway (Williams, 1954) - VPX by bord. This one is beautiful and weird, and it has an extra ball mechanism that you will not succeed at.
Wonderland (Williams, 1955) - VPX by Jino0372
Balls-A-Poppin (Bally, 1956) - VPX by Teisen. The dawn of multiball!
Rainbow (Gottlieb, 1956) - VPX by loserman76
Ace High (Gottlieb, 1957) - VPX by jpsalas. The backglass says: "Amusement pinballs - as American as baseball and hot dogs!"
