Silver Ball Century ep. 58 - Mid-1990 - Skate Or Dine

I'm always excited when I come across a Radical! in the wild. Including the one at Past Times that's modded to play clips from a '90s skateboarding show. The shots are so fun, and the vibes are so rad, in a way that extremely evokes 1990.
Another way to skate through 1990 is Rollergames, based on the short-lived TV show that was roller derby with kayfabe. I can't say I'm nearly as much a fan of its frustrating shots, but it brings the energy.
And then there's Diner, the clear sequel to 1988's Taxi. It's a classic, it's big in tournaments, and when someone is good at playing it, it's boringly repetitive, but that's okay because I'm not good at playing it.
We also get to see Data East's unreleased King Kong, their somewhat kuso Back to the Future, and Gottlieb continuing their back-to-basics theme with Vegas.
Silver Ball Century goes live at 8pm Eastern, on Thursday, May 14, on twitch.tv/arborelia.
