Silver Ball Century ep. 33 - Summer 1980
There's still a lot more 1980 pinball! This episode contains Flight 2000, the game that made my wife a pro-ranked pinball champion; Star Gazer, the table I appreciate so much that I modded the VPX to attempt to do it justice; the catfolk duality of Panthera and Algar; and the most Australian pinball table there has ever been, Dennis Lillee's Howzat!.
Two of the tables, Quicksilver and Skateball, are recreated by VPin Workshop, the team that consistently delivers high-quality VPX pinball. These are the third and fourth tables we've seen from them chronologically, after Hang Glider (1976) and Harlem Globetrotters (1979).
Silver Ball Century goes live today (Thursday, August 21) at 8pm Eastern, on twitch.tv/arborelia.
